Deepa Goraya
Deepa Goraya is an undergraduate in her final year and quarter at UCLA. She is majoring in English and double minoring in classical civilization and African American Studies. She plans on going into public interest/civil rights law after graduating. Deepa became a member of the National Federation of the Blind in 2004, and attended the Louisiana Center for the Blind from July-December 2005. She is currently the President of CABS, and the Vice President of her local San Fernando Valley Chapter. Deepa is down to earth, friendly, likes listening to R&B and some hip hop, and enjoys cooking, tap dancing, reading, traveling, learning about different cultures, meeting new people, eating chocolate, and Mexican and Italian food!
Bruce Sexton
Bruce Sexton, otherwise known as B.J., is a senior at the University of California At Berkeley. He is majoring in American interdisciplinary Studies. He is the most previous president and current board member of the California Association of Blind Students. He also serves as a board member of the National Association of Blind Students. B.J. enjoys down hill skiing, goal ball, playing piano and entering into good philosophical debates, and likes chocolate, humor and food of different variety. He loves to share and enjoy these things with others!
